FROM SAN DIEGO: FROM CABO SAN JOSE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT: 2. Go south east on Paseo De Los Cabos. Turn left onto Paseo Malecon San Jose. You will see the Hotel Royal Solaris on your right. After approximately 1.7 kilometers, turn left at the third or last traffic circle. The sign will read “Centro Historico” and “Puerto Los Cabos,” the new marina. “Puerto Los Cabos” will become a very familiar sign, follow it and you trip will be simplified. (If you miss the last traffic circle, don’t panic. You will see the Hotel Presidente Intercontinental on your right. Just make a U turn and go back to the last traffic circle and turn right towards “Centro Historico.”) 3. From the above traffic circle go north on Boulevard Mijares. There will be a cemetery on your left. You will pass a Botanical Garden on your left or the “Jardin Botonica.” Stay in the right hand lane. You will go approximately 1.2 kilometers. You are looking for a road that turns right or east towards the beach, it is called “Benito Juarez.” There will be a Vantage Realty sign diagonally on your left, with a large map of the East Cape. The road sign will say, “Puerto Los Cabos,” “Publaco La Playa,” and “Zacatitos.” (If you miss this right turn, don’t panic. Just follow the road into the Town Square or shopping district of San Jose del Cabo. Make a U turn when you’re able and go back to the traffic circle, go around it to the left and once again, exit east towards the beach or East Cape.) 4. From the Vantage Realty sign above, you will be driving east towards the East Cape and “Puerto Los Cabos.” You will drive across a large arroya, or river bed. You will be on a two lane highway. Look for a new soccer field on your right. Slow down for two bumps in the road called “Toppes.” There will also be a stop sign across from a local market. You will come to your first of three traffic circles after approximately 1.6 kilometers. Look for the now familiar “Puerto Los Cabos Marina” sign. 5. Go around the traffic circle and take the second right turn. The sign will say, “East Cape Road,” “Zacatitos,” “Laguna Hills,” “Buzzard’s,” and “El Encanto.” This is a newly paved road that is still under construction. Drive carefully, there is no shoulder. After approximately .8 kilometers you will come to your second of three traffic circles. 6. Go around the traffic circle and take the second right turn. The sign will say, “Zacatitos,” “Buzzard’s” and “El Encanto.” After approximately 5.3 kilometers, you will come to a third traffic circle. Again, drive carefully, this is a newly paved road that is still under construction. You will turn right at the traffic circle and head towards the ocean. 7. From the above traffic circle, you will be headed towards the ocean. After approximately 1.8 kilometers, you will come to a T in the road. The pavement will end. Turn left towards Punta Gorda Point. The sign will point to Los Zacatitos. (If you went right you would go towards Buzzard’s on the left or Laguna Hills on the right.” 8. You will now be traveling north east on a bumping dirt road for approximately 6 kilometers. The ocean will be on your right. You will see Punta Gorda Point straight ahead. Drive slowly, this is a very bumpy road. You will pass several homestead sites. Drive up and around Punta Gorda Point. Drive very carefully, there are no guard rails! Once around the point you will overlook the community of Los Zacatitos on your right. 9. From Punta Gorda Point, the road will curve around to the left and then veer right. On your left you will see a commercial building site, or empty dirt lot. On your right, you will see a large concrete structure with “Santa Cruz de Los Zacatitos” painted on it. Next, you will come to a Y in the road. Stay to your right. You will pass through two large while pillars. The pillar on the right will have “Los Zacatitos” painted on it. Follow the road up the slight incline. On your right, look for a cement wall with # 20 in ceramics tiles. Open the gate and go into La Casa Serenidad. Close the gate behind you to keep out rooming cows and burros. Drive down to the Main Casa. Park either inside the gate on the right next to Casita # 1 or park outside the main entrance gate. Remember to close the gate behind you. MAP LINKS
